Development School

2012 - 2013 Prospectus released.


It’s hard to believe that we’re nearly at the end of the first two year rotation of our Ministry Development School. David is the Dean of Students and teaches the “Doctrine and Revelation” stream at the school.


Forty students have studied a total of sixteen subject blocks under Pastor Brent Douglas (Principal) and David. Seven guest teachers have also presented their specialist subjects over the course of the last two years


Early next year we celebrate our first graduates at the Encounter MDS Graduation Dinner. Graduating students will be honoured with either the EMDS Diploma of Ministry Studies or the EMDS Certificate of Ministry Studies.

LIFE IN THE LOCAL CHURCH


Three weeks ago we celebrated Elevate’s third birthday; and as we started this time last year, we celebrated with a weekend conference we called ‘Irresistible 2011’.







As we look back on the past year we do so with much gratitude. Many people have been added to the church, and these folk are fast becoming good friends. We love this community of mutual affection, people who love the Presence, and desire to see love spill out from them to the world around.


Irresistible 2011 turned out to be an awesome reward and refreshing to all who are serving with us. Joining us for the occasion were two awesome young kiwi ministries: Christ De’Ath from Rangiora, and Toby Collins from Hamilton.












These two ministered with such joy and passion - powerful preaching and teaching, and outstanding in their prophetic ministry among the people. What we experienced three weekends ago has been a pivotal experience for our young church.


We’re loving life in the local church. Please come and visit when you’re next in Auckland.
