This book has been a great blessing to me personally. I refer to it over and over again to gain knowledge and understanding when it comes to helping me interrupt dreams that I or David have received. I have read quite extensively, listened to many messages on this subject and I would count this as a reference book to have readily available. Of course most importantly for us all is the Holy Spirit when it comes to interpreting and understanding the realm of revelation (dreams). In these last days this is exactly what the Holy Spirit is doing (Acts 2:17-21). But it is good to have the wisdom of others to help us on our way.

You will learn how to:

  1. Receive and understand your dreams.

  2. Interpret and apply your dream revelations.

  3. Tune your spiritual antenna.

  4. Detect Dream Snatchers and Dream Drainers.

  5. Recognise the difference between Holy Spirit, natural, and demonic dreams.

  6. Eliminate obstacles keeping you from receiving God’s revelations.

The Book is divided into Three Parts:

Part One is building the framework that will enable you to understand the work of this “weaver” in your dream life. Along with this you will discover that dreams and the interpretation of dreams is neither a modern phenomenon nor a unique event in the life of God’s people. Spiritual dreams have their roots in ancient Judaism, as well as the early Church. Part one tells us the different Hebrew and Greek words used in the Bible for dreams and what their meanings are.

Part Two is learning the vocabulary of dream interpretation. We learn here that the dream language is more spiritual and symbolic. So given to us in this part are keys to interpret, so that along with the Holy Spirit, we are able to understand the mysteries of dream language. In part one the writers are helping to create a framework for interpreting your dreams, and in part two they help us to complete the framework. (Like putting the border of a jigsaw puzzle in first then gradually filling in to see the complete picture.)

Part Three is walking in Wisdom. This section focuses on journaling, the silence of God, and learning to handle dreams with wisdom. These are three very important areas for us. Journaling helps us remember the dream. God being silent...  what do you do when there are no dreams, visions or revelation? Then lastly wisdom is needed as we don’t want to mishandle the revelation given.

There are reflection questions all the way through the book. This is another good way to see if we are comprehending the things that are taught.

Lastly, through the book and at the back are a list of dream symbols and their interpretations. This is really handy to have as a reference and I have repeatedly gone to the list just to help me clarify the meaning of some of the things that I have seen in my dreams. This list comes out of numerous pioneers who have blazed a trail in understanding these ways of God.

I’m very glad that I have ‘Dream Language’ on my book shelf, and recommend this very helpful book to you.
